I’ve read some incredible literature recently, books filled with silky prose and sparkling with those magical lines that make me stop reading, re-read, re-read again, and think about so much that I consider telling people what just happened. I’ve barely started this and I’m already putting it up alongside Gao Xingjian’s Soul Mountain on my all-time best list. The completeness of the idea, omniscience of execution, the effortless flow of words. Yeah, it’s not bad. .
